Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager to join our team in Bremen. As a Proposal Manager, you will be responsible for defining concepts for products, services, and complete ground segments or user segments for satellites. You will create a network of contacts to customers, potential scientific and industrial partners, colleagues within the whole OHB Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to studies, R&D projects, and space system proposals (technical and commercial)
- Prepare activities such as scouting for opportunities, identifying and initiating R&D, industrial teaming, and budget allocation to tasks
- Coordinate the creation and writing parts of technical proposals, management proposals, implementation proposals, and service proposals
Requirements
- University degree in Space System Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering area
- At least first, preferably profound, professional experience in one of the following areas: system engineering, software development, space system operations, Satcom, project management, business development
- Capability to present in front of customers and colleagues
- Motivation to do what is needed to get things done
- Ability to work independently to gather knowledge and skills required
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with team members
- Fluency in spoken English and professional in writing (B2), preferably fluency in spoken German and professional in writing (B2)
