Job Title: Domain Manager SATCOM

About the Role:

The OHB System AG is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Domain Manager SATCOM to join our Business Development team in Bremen or Oberpfaffenhofen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the SATCOM domain.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Screening of relevant tenders from institutions and commercial/exporting customers
  • Coordination of procurement activities related to the SATCOM domain
  • Identification and monitoring of market needs and support of product development and sales
  • Preparation of sales forecasts and reporting
  • Synchronization of relevant activities and active information of stakeholders
  • Point of contact for all stakeholders related to the SATCOM domain
  • Active participation in trade fairs, conferences, committees, and associations in coordination with the Communication and Marketing departments
  • Proactive development and proposal of strategic partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions
  • Coordination and internal information exchange within the domain
  • Representation in domain-specific committees

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in Business Administration or Aerospace Engineering
  • Desirable: several years of experience in the space industry and experience with space programs
  • Network within the specific domain is an advantage
  • Ability to develop and formulate strategies
  • High level of self-organization and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Good communication, rhetorical, and networking skills
  • Decision-making ability, entrepreneurial thinking
  • Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking
