We are currently seeking a Business Development Executive (m/w/d) Air/Ocean - New Client Acquisition for our client, a logistics company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participation in trade fairs and events
  • Responsible for sales activities in the assigned territory
  • Acquisition of new clients and expansion of customer relationships
  • Identification of service and product opportunities with potential clients
  • Strategic management and development of the existing customer base
  • Negotiation of terms and presentation of offers and concepts
  • Intensive support of clients to achieve sales goals and strategies
  • Achievement and enhancement of revenue and profit targets
  • Close collaboration with international partners, service departments, and operational teams


Candidate Profile:
  • Successfully completed training as a freight forwarding agent or a comparable qualification
  • Entrepreneurial and results-oriented thinking and action
  • Several years of professional experience in the sales of logistics products (sea and air freight) in field sales
  • Strong communication skills for understanding customer requirements and finding solutions
  • Negotiation and closing skills as strengths
  • Current knowledge of the sea and air freight market
  • Good English language skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and experience with CRM systems
  • Willingness to travel and experience with digital meetings
  • Proven sales experience in field sales
