Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a skilled IT Administrator to become a vital part of our team. This role is perfect for IT professionals eager to demonstrate their capabilities across various platforms. You will engage with Microsoft 365 technologies and possess practical experience with both Mac and Windows operating systems. Key Responsibilities
  • Establish IT equipment and accounts for new team members, ensuring they are equipped from their first day.
  • Oversee and support Microsoft environments, including Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and other Office applications.
  • Provide technical assistance for both Mac and Windows operating systems, ensuring smooth integration and functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.
  • Administer and maintain network infrastructure to guarantee optimal performance and security.
  • Implement and manage data backup, disaster recovery strategies, and system upgrades.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within a hybrid environment.
  • Conduct regular system audits and performance enhancements to ensure efficient system operations.
  • Offer training and support to staff on software tools and IT best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Yamaha IT team (in Japan and Europe) on various projects, including system migrations and new software deployments.
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders (third-party partners, internal teams, etc.) for service development initiatives, including system migrations and new software implementations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an IT Administrator or in a comparable role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft technologies, including Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with both Mac and Windows operating systems.
  • Understanding of network administration, including DNS, LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with data backup solutions and disaster recovery best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of German or Japanese is a plus.
