Senior Revenue Cycle Operations Manager

Job Summary:
The Senior Revenue Cycle Operations Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the team to ensure the goals and standards of the department and CareSource are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures team is meeting all service level agreements (SLAs) and adheres to all regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
- Develops and implements data-driven strategies to optimize revenue cycle performance and productivity.
- Utilizes key accounts receivable and reporting expertise to ensure timely and accurate recording and reporting of accounts receivable activity.
- Manages staff for quality review, performance feedback, disciplinary issues, and merit/bonus appraisal review.
- Maintains and communicates key performance indicators and other pertinent information to leadership and stakeholders.
- Responsibility for training and development of staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Facilitates timely resolution of member issues using workflow systems and technology.
- Manages the timely and accurate posting of payments to accounts receivable.
- Coordinates incoming information and disseminates to staff to ensure accuracy of communication to internal and external customers.
- Collaborates with Regulatory Compliance Officers to ensure that requests are resolved within timelines and tracked for reporting.
- Reviews and interprets regulatory requirements and ensures business policies and processes are in compliance.
- Develops, reviews, revises, and enforces company policies and procedures, as well as departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Creates a culture of accountability and flexibility within the team to support the organizational mission and vision.
- Participates in ongoing development of new products and technologies to improve revenue cycle operations.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements and initiates efforts using accepted continuous improvement methodologies (DMAIC, Lean, etc.).
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is preferred.
- Four to six (4-6) years of experience in billing, credit, and collections, or customer service experience is required.

- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Working Conditions:
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- May be required to travel occasionally.
Compensation Range:
$52, $83,900.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. We are highly invested in every employee's total well-being and offer a substantial and comprehensive total rewards package.
