Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Technician is a key member of our Warehouse/Logistics team at Charles River Laboratories, Inc. This role is responsible for receiving raw materials, packaging materials for production and laboratories, receiving samples for the laboratories, national/international dispatching of reagents and laboratory instruments, and general warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and store raw materials and finished goods in a safe and organized manner
- Pack and ship materials to customers and internal departments
- Manage inventory levels and perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve logistical issues and improve processes
- Completed vocational training as a logistics specialist or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in warehousing and transport
- Class B driving license
- Knowledge of written and spoken German (C2 level) and English (C2 level)
- Good IT skills and use of common Microsoft Office package
- Class C driving license
- Forklift license
