Senior Expert in Group Credit Risk Standards m/w/d

Engaging Role in Group Risk Management
This position offers a unique opportunity within the Group Risk Management of DZ BANK AG. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and overseeing the corporate standards for credit risk parameter assessment within the DZ BANK AG framework. Collaborating closely with your peers, your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and analyzing regulatory changes related to credit risk parameter assessment in your designated areas
- Formulating and revising corporate standards for credit risk parameter assessment in alignment with regulatory mandates and economic needs, while coordinating with subsidiary entities
- Organizing workshops to discuss corporate standards and engage with subsidiaries, facilitating these sessions with your team, and evaluating the effectiveness of credit risk calculations conducted by subsidiaries
- Supporting model adjustments initiated by subsidiaries in your area of responsibility, participating in regular discussions, and assisting with regulatory audits within DZ BANK AG
- Contributing to various projects and ongoing tasks related to credit risk parameter assessment
Candidate Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Law, or a related field, coupled with several years of experience in the financial sector, regulatory oversight, or consultancy
- Comprehensive theoretical and practical expertise in credit risk parameter assessment (PD, LGD) and statistical methodologies
- In-depth understanding of pertinent regulatory frameworks (CRR, EBA Guidelines/Standards, ECB requirements)
- Exceptional analytical capabilities, a self-directed work approach with a focus on execution, and strong communication skills
- Proficiency in standard IT applications and a good command of the English language
