As a Senior Content Strategist within eBay's AI design team, you will play a crucial role in crafting generative AI-driven content and curation experiences for our users. The team is focused on developing enchanting, scalable, and personalized ecommerce experiences utilizing Generative AI. You excel in collaborating with cross-functional partners to define strategies and outcomes in evolving and uncertain environments. Your responsibilities will include spearheading the content strategy for our in-product Generative AI experiences, establishing frameworks for scalability, and nurturing partner relationships for effective implementation.

As a comprehensive Senior Content Strategist, you recognize that writing is an integral part of the design process. You perceive language as a design element and motivate others to adopt this perspective. You possess the skills to collaborate with the product design team to address complex challenges with straightforward language within an established content design framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement content strategies, frameworks, and guidelines to ensure end-to-end consistency in collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Oversee the content design process from initial discovery to final execution.
  • Employ the Double Diamond methodology to design, test, and refine user flows in close collaboration with other teams.
  • Partner closely with the Localization team to guarantee content scalability across various markets.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in content-centric roles, with a minimum of 5 years in in-product UX content.
  • A portfolio that highlights AI-related projects with an emphasis on human-centered design.
  • Proven experience in leading the design process from concept through to launch.
  • Expertise in developing product content strategies for web and mobile platforms, including a focus on accessibility.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, human-centered interaction, or a related discipline.
