Financial Controller with a Focus on Reporting & Business Intelligence (m/f/d)

Your Future Responsibilities

In this role, you will enhance our Firmwide Controlling Team with an emphasis on Reporting and Business Intelligence. Our internal departments serve as the organizational and technological backbone for our client operations. As a proactive Business Partner, our Finance Team ensures that standardized controlling processes and performance measurement systems provide internal stakeholders, such as the Management Board, with high-quality information to support critical business decisions.

Within an international context, your key responsibilities as a liaison between Finance/Controlling and IT will include:

  • Developing concepts and defining IT requirements to optimize our automated reporting system by consolidating relevant data from various sources.
  • Supporting and overseeing the implementation and updating of systems, tools, and reports from a Finance/Controlling perspective.
  • Preparing the configuration of forecasting, planning, and evaluation tools, implementing reporting templates, and ensuring data validation.
  • Acting as a point of contact for regional controllers and ensuring the effective use of reports and tools through training and support.
  • Managing the regular updates of various management reports and presentations, as well as coordinating the forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Assisting with various Finance projects.
  • Reporting directly to the Head of Firmwide Controlling.

Your Profile

  • A successfully completed Master's degree in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Business Informatics, or Business Administration.
  • At least three years of professional experience in Finance, particularly in financial planning and analysis, ideally within an internationally operating company.
  • Experience in creating reports and dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of databases and proficient use of reporting, planning, and forecasting tools as a Key User (knowledge of CCH Tagetik is advantageous).
  • Excellent SAP knowledge as a Key User.
  • Proficient in both German and English, with French being a plus.
