Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at 2230 Laser Imaging Systems GMBH. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to customers, evaluating and analyzing technical equipment problems, and providing solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, analyze, and diagnose technical equipment problems via telephone, remote access, or in-person at customer locations
  • Prepare field service reports on customer support activities and provide documentation to other supporting functions on recurring problems
  • Represent the company to customers and be accountable for customer satisfaction with service
  • Coordinate actions with customers to minimize downtime
  • Train and support service engineers worldwide
  • Communicate with all partners in a timely manner
  • Effectively present information to management
  • Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security policy
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations

Requirements

  • University degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Good practical skills in electronic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical assembly
  • Ability to read and work with engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills in English and German
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites on a regular basis (approximately 25%) for onsite support and service & systems installation

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to customer sites. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
