Position Overview:
We are seeking a Certification Engineer (f/m/d) to oversee product conformity assessments during development and ongoing projects. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance and facilitating market access for our products. You will collaborate with various internal teams and engage with national and international certification bodies. Your primary focus will be on obtaining certificates and declarations of conformity for our offerings, including drives, motors, and robotics.
Your Responsibilities:
- Plan, monitor, and execute conformity assessment activities.
- Collaborate with project teams, providing guidance on achieving compliance with product offerings.
- Evaluate product conformity against applicable standards and legal requirements.
- Offer marketing insights for international and segmented market access, covering both mandatory and voluntary conformity assessments.
- Coordinate with external certification bodies and define compliance requirements in consultation with suppliers.
- Report compliance issues to management and address customer inquiries regarding certification matters.

- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in automation, electronics, R&D, or testing.
- Strong understanding of standards interpretation and application.
- Knowledge of product compliance assessment for international markets and familiarity with European directives (LVD, EMC, Machinery, RED, etc.) is advantageous.
- Proficient in both German and English, written and spoken.
- Possess soft skills such as organization, rigor, diplomacy, and teaching ability.
