Position Overview:
We are seeking a Certification Engineer (f/m/d) to oversee product conformity assessments in both development and ongoing projects. Your role will be crucial in ensuring compliance and facilitating market access for our products by collaborating with various internal departments and engaging with national and international certification bodies. The primary focus will be on obtaining certificates and declarations of conformity for our offerings, including drives, motors, and robotics.
Your Responsibilities:
- Plan, oversee, and implement conformity assessment processes.
- Collaborate with project teams, providing guidance on achieving compliance for our offerings.
- Assess the conformity of products against relevant standards and legal requirements.
- Offer marketing insights for both mandatory and voluntary market access compliance.
- Coordinate with external certification agencies and establish compliance criteria in collaboration with suppliers.
- Alert management to compliance challenges and assist customer support with certification inquiries.

- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in automation, electronics, R&D, or testing.
- Strong understanding of standards interpretation and application.
- Familiarity with product compliance assessment for international markets and European directives (LVD, EMC, Machinery, RED, etc.) is advantageous.
- Proficient in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess essential soft skills, including organization, rigor, diplomacy, and teaching ability.
