About SimScale

SimScale is a pioneering engineering simulation platform that transforms the approach engineers, designers, scientists, and architects take in product design. Our platform is entirely web-based, featuring a user-friendly interface that accommodates various simulation types, including Structural Mechanics, Fluid Dynamics, and Thermodynamics.

Leveraging cloud technology for simulation, SimScale removes the barriers associated with conventional simulation tools, such as high installation costs, licensing fees, and the need for specialized hardware. Users benefit from always having access to the latest version of our software.

Your Role

As a Strategic Account Manager (m/f/d), you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients to expedite their development cycles, enhance product quality, and eliminate inefficiencies. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Overseeing the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to the successful closure of software agreements.
  • Utilizing your entrepreneurial mindset to devise innovative strategies that not only meet but surpass your ambitious sales targets.
  • Building a robust network through targeted engagement with engineering and simulation leaders, as well as high-level decision-makers, including proactive outreach.
  • Collaborating closely with our Pre-Sales and Customer Success Teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and formulate strategic account plans aimed at sustainable growth.
Expectations
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software sales to engineering sectors, particularly in industries such as automotive, electronics, or industrial machinery.
  • Proficiency in strategic account planning and the ability to identify new business opportunities using frameworks like MEDDIC or SPICED.
  • A strong understanding of complex sales processes, working with clients to define tailored solutions that offer significant value and scalability.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of engaging confidently with C-level executives and leading intricate negotiations aimed at successful enterprise sales.
