Position: AML Operations Team Supervisor

We are in search of a seasoned AML Operations Team Supervisor to enhance our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and guide a group of AML specialists, ensuring adherence to internal regulations and formulating strategies to mitigate risks associated with money laundering and terrorist financing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of AML specialists to cultivate a cooperative and high-achieving environment.
  • Formulate and revise internal guidelines to guarantee compliance.
  • Establish measures to thwart money laundering and terrorist financing, emphasizing transaction oversight.
  • Serve as the main liaison for external investigative bodies.
  • Perform thorough risk assessments and scrutinize questionable transactions.
  • Offer expert guidance on regulatory obligations to various teams.
  • Engage with auditors and regulatory authorities.
  • Enhance transaction monitoring systems and oversee compliance projects.
  • Deliver training to team members on AML regulations and industry best practices.
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage any team conflicts.
Candidate Profile:
  • At least 5 years of experience in AML, with a focus on transaction oversight.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks aimed at preventing financial crimes.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.
  • Proactive approach and dedication to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Proficiency in both German and English.
  • Experience in leading and inspiring teams.
  • Ability to effectively resolve conflicts and make sound decisions.
