About Our Client

Our client is a renowned industrial company in the metalworking sector, with a global presence and a wide range of products. They are a leader in the market with a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction. As part of their talent development program, they offer structured training and career opportunities for their employees. We are looking for a responsible Key Account Manager in the Zerspanung department to join their team in Baden-Württemberg.

Your Role

As a sales specialist, you will be responsible for maximizing market presence in your region. You will actively seek out opportunities to turn potential customers into active customers and take proactive measures to place premium products effectively. This includes:

  • Identifying and acquiring new customers and exploring new customer segments
  • Providing commercial and technical advice to customers in collaboration with customer service, product management, and application technology to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Managing the entire sales process through regular customer visits
  • Offering products, negotiating and concluding contracts to achieve successful outcomes
  • Participating in symposia and trade fairs
  • Monitoring the market and providing insights to the company

This is a challenging and demanding role that requires your engagement and commitment.

Your Profile

You have a completed vocational training in a metalworking profession, preferably with a technical qualification or a comparable qualification. Additionally, you possess:

  • Several years of experience in a manufacturing company and ideally knowledge of metalworking processes
  • An intrinsic motivation and self-starter mentality
  • Initial sales experience in the B2B sector, as well as knowledge of production processes and requirements in the machine building and automotive industries
  • A routine use of MS-Office products, a CRM system, and travel readiness for daily commuting from home office
