Job Summary

The Sales Representative for Medical Imaging Devices will be responsible for driving sales and growing market share within a designated territory. This role requires in-depth knowledge of medical imaging products, a strategic sales approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market presence for medical imaging devices.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to healthcare professionals, highlighting the benefits and features of medical imaging devices.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including radiologists, hospital administrators, and imaging department managers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly follow up with existing clients to ensure ongoing support and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Product Expertise:
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of medical imaging products, including their technical specifications and clinical applications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and technological advancements in medical imaging.
  • Provide product training and support to clients, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to effectively use the devices.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the medical imaging sector.
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights and market demands.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the technical support and service teams to ensure seamless product installation and customer support.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to represent the company and generate leads.

Requirements

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree or specialized training in medical imaging is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the medical device, healthcare, or medical imaging field be advantageous but not a must have.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of medical imaging devices, radiology workflows, and diagnostic processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
