This is a unique chance to join Remote and make a significant impact in the global employment sector as a Lead Payroll Consultant - Austria, becoming a vital part of our Global Payroll Operations Team.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a primary authority on payroll matters for Austria, maintaining strong relationships with essential stakeholders in Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
- Oversee the complete payroll process in-house, ensuring compliance with statutory filing requirements, managing exceptions, approvals, payments, and overall compliance.
- Guarantee data integrity and quality throughout payroll processes.
- Focus on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Enhance and streamline payroll processes through effective implementation and improvement strategies.
- Provide mentorship and support to payroll specialists.
- Assist regional managers during their absence.
- Demonstrated experience in payroll management.
- Familiarity with payroll best practices.
- Proficient in software tools such as SAP and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Possess an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international work environment with a commitment to making a difference.
- Proactive in seeking productivity improvements.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Remote work experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

The salary range for this full-time position is between $33,000 and $77,000, influenced by various factors including role, level, location, and individual qualifications.
