Product Manager for Software Quality Solutions

Position Overview

The Software Quality Solutions developed by our company are utilized by numerous development teams globally to ensure optimal code quality prior to deployment. These solutions encompass a variety of tools, including automated GUI testing and static code analysis, with additional service-based offerings in our current and future portfolio.

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager for our flagship product, Axivion, which addresses the requirements for Static Code Analysis and Software Architecture Verification. You will be responsible for managing the product roadmap, driven by customer insights, business intelligence, and market competition, to fulfill established strategic objectives. Collaboration with our Commercial Product Managers is essential to align the roadmap with the strategic goals of our business unit and our market entry strategies. You should possess a keen understanding of industry trends and represent the voice of the customer for both product marketing and R&D teams. A hands-on approach is crucial, as familiarity with our product and its daily usage by customers is expected. Your data-driven mindset and passion for driving business impact will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the product roadmap for Axivion
  • Propel the execution of the product roadmap, collaborating with R&D to prioritize development and balance technical implementation with time-to-market considerations
  • Lead product success by defining and monitoring product metrics and KPIs
  • Manage requirements and gather product feedback effectively
  • Conduct A/B testing, analytics, market research, and competitive analysis to inform product decisions
  • Act as a thought leader and product expert in internal and customer-facing engagements
  • Engage with stakeholders through various communication channels for input gathering, future planning, and alignment on deliverables
  • Share knowledge proactively through focused webinars, training sessions, and workshops
  • Inspire and provide a compelling vision to engineering teams

Candidate Profile

  • At least 5 years of experience in product management for a highly technical software product
  • Proficient in product management principles and frameworks
  • Technical background with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical product managers and R&D teams
  • Strong experience in requirements management and product initiative management
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product management practices
  • Analytical mindset: capable of modeling business scenarios and making data-driven product decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Willingness to travel internationally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with C/C++ and its compilers
  • Background in embedded products and highly regulated sectors (e.g., automotive, medical)
  • Interest in Static Code Analysis and Software Architecture
  • Previous experience in the software testing industry is advantageous
