Business Development Manager

Our client is a renowned industrial company in the metalworking sector, with a global presence and a wide range of products. They are a leader in the market with a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction. As part of their talent development program, they offer structured training and career opportunities for their employees. We are looking for a responsible Key Account Manager to join their team in the Zerspanung department.
Your RoleAs a sales specialist, you will be responsible for maximizing market presence in your assigned region. You will actively seek out new business opportunities, identify potential customers, and develop strategies to increase sales. Your tasks will include:
- Identifying and acquiring new customers and expanding existing customer segments
- Providing commercial and technical advice to customers in collaboration with the customer service, product management, and application technology teams
- Managing the sales process through regular customer visits and meetings
- Developing and negotiating sales offers and contracts
- Participating in industry events and trade shows
- Staying up-to-date with market trends and providing insights to the company
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of engagement and motivation.
Your ProfileYou should have a completed vocational training in a metalworking profession, preferably with a technical qualification. Additionally, you should have:
- Several years of experience in a manufacturing company, ideally with knowledge of metalworking processes
- An intrinsic motivation and self-starter mentality
- Previous sales experience in the B2B sector, as well as knowledge of production processes and customer requirements in the machine building and automotive industries
- Proficiency in MS Office products and a CRM system, as well as willingness to travel regularly from your home office
