We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to support our Global Category Management team in their daily work. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, data analysis, and project management for various category management projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Global Category Managers in their daily work with local MCC country organizations, international suppliers, and the Metro Sourcing organization.
  • Provide data and market analyses to identify potential new Own Brand Projects.
  • Support Project Management for the category Gastro Appliances.
  • International Benchmarking of competition to identify the specification, customer requests, and relevant market shares.
  • Preparation of international buying team meetings, including administrative support, data analysis, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Review and Optimize Master data on SKU-level (MBS).

Requirements:

  • You are enrolled in Bachelor-/Master studies.
  • You have excellent oral and written English skills (company language is English).
  • You have excellent MS Office skills, especially in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • You are eager to get to know global category management.
  • International experience is an advantage.
