Key Responsibilities

Are you prepared to spearhead and innovate within the Home Appliances sector? We are seeking a proactive Global Market Segment Manager to devise and implement strategies that advance our business objectives. Your role will involve establishing ambitious targets, formulating actionable plans, and coordinating resources across Engineering, Sales, Product Management, and Marketing. You will pinpoint unique value propositions, foster innovation, and gain a profound understanding of customer requirements to enhance our market standing. Your primary goals will include developing an optimal product assortment, increasing project success rates, and managing initiatives from inception to completion.

Market Segment & Annual Business Strategy

Work in close collaboration with Sales, Product Management, Digital, and Regional Marketing Teams to formulate and execute Market Segment Plans for designated key customers. Ensure realistic revenue growth planning through annual revisions, incorporating Go-To-Market strategies derived from the market segment plan for these key customers.

Account-Based Marketing (including KPIs)

Generate Customer Insights. Build a network, engage with sales and customers, and analyze relevant market research data. Design tailored marketing campaigns for strategic market segments aimed at generating new customer leads, optimizing the distribution of new solution offerings, and enhancing the sales organization’s closing rate in close collaboration with the Digital Marketing Team.

Innovation – Product Launches

Develop core product assortments and solutions in partnership with sales, product management, and technology teams to address customer needs and value propositions. Identify gaps in the current product range to create compelling business cases.

Project Support for Customer Initiatives

Actively engage in significant customer projects, defining strategies, persuading key decision-makers, refining technical and commercial arguments, and providing essential support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, mechanical engineering, chemistry, materials science, or a related field. An MBA is advantageous.A minimum of five years of combined experience in engineering, strategy, marketing, and/or product segment management within the Home Appliance, Chemical, or Adhesive industries.A proactive and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude.Strong analytical, strategic, and organizational skills, along with critical thinking capabilities.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, with experience in CRM software.Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
