Business Development Strategist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Strategist to join our team at tesa. As a key member of our innovation team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and developing new business opportunities for our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in our strategic focus fields.
- Support literature and patent research to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and innovations.
- Develop and present PowerPoint presentations to internal and external stakeholders to communicate our value proposition.
- Analyze customer needs and market trends to inform our business development strategy.
- Collaborate with our technology development team to evaluate the economic viability of new technologies and their applications.
- Support the creation of marketing materials to communicate our value proposition to customers.
Requirements
- You are currently pursuing a master's degree in a relevant field, such as business engineering, industrial engineering, business chemistry, innovation management, or business administration.
- You have a strong affinity for technology and are able to set emerging technologies in a commercial and entrepreneurial context.
- You are a strong communicator and enjoy working in a team environment.
- You have a high level of self-motivation and are able to work independently.
- You are proficient in using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- You have excellent English language skills, with German language skills a plus.
- Experience in patent and technology research, product development, SWOT analysis, secondary market research, and technology potential analysis is a plus.
- You are located in the Hamburg area, with around 80% of your working time spent on-site at our headquarters in Norderstedt.
