Lead Product Marketing Strategist

**Position Overview**

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven **Principal Product Marketing Specialist** to enhance our Automotive Digital Product Marketing Team. This role is pivotal in propelling the growth of our next-generation Automotive MCU Products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Champion the marketing efforts for Renesas Automotive Microcontrollers.
  • Gather, define, and meticulously track global customer requirements.
  • Coordinate projects with major automotive clients.
  • Assume a leadership role in collaboration with internal technical marketing and design teams to outline and monitor the roadmap for Renesas microcontroller products.
  • Collaborate with internal support teams for Renesas products.
  • Partner with internal sales teams to enhance customer promotion strategies and execution.
  • Facilitate effective communication and information exchange with Renesas Japan.
  • Report on performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
  • Develop and implement market introduction plans globally, focusing on key customers and market segments.
  • Ensure the comprehensive availability of the complete product package for market introduction, including documentation, starter kits, promotional materials, and training for the sales force.
  • Create public marketing content such as whitepapers, press releases, and webinars.

**Qualifications:**

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in electronic engineering.
  • 5-10 years of experience in product marketing within the semiconductor industry.
  • Familiarity with the automotive market and a solid understanding of the requirements of car manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Extensive knowledge of embedded microcontrollers and their ecosystems.
  • A proven track record in product definition and requirement management.
  • Strong grasp of relevant marketing concepts, including Go-To-Market strategies and customer expectations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a multicultural and agile environment.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) and preferably German.
  • Experience with software IT infrastructure and standard PC tools (MS-Office).
  • Ideally, experience in automotive system design, E/E architecture, artificial intelligence, customer negotiations, and handling complex technical requests in collaboration with key customers.
