Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Principal Product Marketing Specialist to enhance our Automotive Digital Product Marketing Team. This role is pivotal in propelling the growth of our next-generation Automotive MCU Products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for Renesas Automotive Microcontrollers
  • Gather, define, and meticulously track global customer requirements
  • Coordinate projects with major automotive clients
  • Lead collaboration with internal technical marketing and design teams to outline and monitor roadmap development for Renesas microcontroller offerings
  • Engage with internal support teams for Renesas products
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams to enhance customer promotion strategies and execution
  • Facilitate effective communication and information exchange with Renesas Japan
  • Report performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management
  • Develop and implement global market introduction plans
  • Ensure comprehensive availability and drive responsible departments for the complete product package, including documentation, starter kits, promotional materials, and software
  • Create public marketing content such as whitepapers, press releases, and webinars

Qualifications:

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering
  • 5-10 years of experience in product marketing within the semiconductor sector
  • Familiarity with the automotive market and a solid understanding of car manufacturers and Tier 1 requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of embedded microcontrollers and their ecosystems
  • Proven experience in product definition and requirement management
  • Strong grasp of relevant marketing concepts and customer expectations
  • Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, and capable of thriving in a multicultural and agile environment
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) and preferably German
  • Proficient in software IT infrastructure and standard PC tools (MS Office)
  • Desirable experience in automotive system design, E/E architecture, artificial intelligence, customer negotiations, handling complex technical RFQs, MCU architecture/networking, functional safety/security, and embedded software
