**Position Overview**
We are seeking a **Principal Product Marketing Specialist** (f/m/d) to enhance our Automotive Digital Product Marketing Team. This role is pivotal in steering the advancement of our next-generation Automotive MCU Products.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Advocate for Renesas Automotive Microcontrollers
- Gather, define, and meticulously track global customer requirements
- Manage projects in collaboration with major automotive clients
- Lead efforts with internal technical marketing and design teams to outline and monitor the development roadmap for Renesas microcontroller products
- Collaborate with internal support teams for Renesas products
- Partner with internal sales teams to facilitate customer promotion strategies and their execution
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with Renesas Japan
- Report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management
- Formulate and implement a global market introduction strategy (e.g., target customers, market segments/applications)
- Guarantee the availability and drive responsible departments for the complete product package (documentation, starter kits, promotional materials, software) for market introduction, including training for the sales team on assigned products
- Create public marketing materials such as whitepapers, press releases, webinars, etc.
**Candidate Profile:**
A degree in electronic engineering is required.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in relevant product marketing within the semiconductor industry
- Familiarity with the automotive sector, including a solid understanding of car manufacturers and Tier 1 requirements
- Extensive knowledge of embedded microcontrollers and their ecosystems
- Proven experience in product definition and requirement management
- Strong grasp of relevant marketing concepts (Go-To-Market strategies) and customer expectations
- Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a multicultural and agile environment
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential; German language skills are preferable
- Experience with software IT infrastructure and standard PC tools (MS-Office)
- Ideally, experience in: Automotive system design, E/E architecture, Artificial Intelligence, customer negotiations, managing complex technical RFQs in collaboration with key customers, MCU architecture/networking, functional safety/security, and embedded software
