As a vital member of the OVHcloud Sales Division, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for acquiring and nurturing customer relationships. This role is crucial for enhancing OVH's international footprint. With a dynamic, proactive approach and a passion for sales and the cloud sector, the Inside Sales Representative's ultimate aim is to ensure client satisfaction.
Acting as the initial point of contact between OVHcloud and potential clients, the Inside Sales Representative assists new customers by addressing sales inquiries through both incoming and outgoing calls and emails. This position is accountable for customer satisfaction and revenue generation across a diverse range of prospects within the mid-market segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive OVH's growth in the cloud market by creating business opportunities with both prospective and existing clients,
- Engage with various lead sources: inbound calls, support tickets, contact form inquiries, promotional campaigns, event follow-ups, etc.,
- Assist clients in identifying additional requirements,
- Recognize and navigate sales challenges,
- Determine the appropriate OVH product to fulfill customer needs,
- Convert potential leads into OVH customers,
- Manage a pipeline of business opportunities and document them in our customer relationship management system (CRM),
- Strengthen the brand by delivering exceptional customer service.
Expected Impact
Within six months, you will have achieved:
- Mastery of our product offerings,
- A comprehensive understanding of the global organization,
- Identification of potential prospects,
- Development of fundamental technical skills to address prospect needs.
And within one year, you will have attained:
- Complete autonomy in handling standard project requests,
- Broadened knowledge of our product range,
- Acquired specialized knowledge in specific sectors (AI, healthcare, etc.).
Required Skills
- A sales-oriented mindset with the ability to engage in technical discussions,
- Familiarity with cloud products (Public Cloud, Private Cloud, Dedicated Servers, VPS, etc.),
- Proficiency in handling phone communications and responding to electronic tickets generated by customers via email,
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,
- Strong customer focus combined with technical aptitude,
- Detail-oriented, self-sufficient, resourceful, organized, and proactive,
- Language proficiency: fluent in German and professional English.
