The Director of Sales and Account Management is a key position at Experian, responsible for leading the sales and account management teams in the finance and payment sector. This role requires a strong sales orientation, excellent network management, and a deep understanding of the finance and payment industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales and account management teams, ensuring they are aligned with Experian's standards, strategies, and targets.
- Support national and international customers from the finance and payment industry, providing professional support, managing client relationships, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement the existing sales strategy, reviewing, improving, and executing it to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth.
- Manage the budget for the department, including resources, hiring, and personnel planning, ensuring the team operates within set financial parameters.
- Collaborate with product and solution management to innovate and enhance industry-specific solutions, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of customers.
- Conceptualize and execute customer events, lectures, trade fair presences, etc. in collaboration with marketing, planning and overseeing customer engagement activities to boost brand visibility and customer engagement.
Requirements
- Strong sales orientation and excellent network management.
- Several years of experience and excellent knowledge of the finance and payment industry and in the areas of risk and fraud management.
- Excellent network/contacts in the finance and payment industry.
- Proven experience in solution sales and the support of major customers.
- Analytical, conceptual, and entrepreneurial thinking skills.
- Positive mindset and hands-on mentality.
- Negotiating skills and closing strength, confident in communicating with decision-makers even at the C-level.
- Very good communication and presentation skills in German and English.
- Willingness to travel.
