About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our team in the Industrial Operations department. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) to promote smooth data integration across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define user stories and create a product backlog to prioritize customer requirements
  • Hold ownership of defining and prioritizing user requirements and communicate closely with the development team
  • Maximize the value addition of products developed by the agile Scrum team
  • Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, development teams, and project managers
  • Frontload work for the development teams to enable fast and value-oriented delivery

Requirements

  • Master's degree or PhD in computer science, industrial engineering, or a related field
  • More than 5 years of profound technical domain expertise working as a Product Owner or Manager
  • Proven leadership in software development across IT and OT sectors
  • Experience working directly with a wide range of customers to develop scalable solutions
  • Deep knowledge of industrial plants, especially in data integration (shopfloor to topfloor)
  • Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Snowflake, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Cognite, PDC Kepware, or similar
  • Agile mindset, thriving in dynamic environments with expertise in Scrum and other methodologies
  • Committed to ensuring sustainable software quality and hands-on in feature validation
  • Reliable team player, fostering mutual trust and collaboration
  • Fluent in English, with German language skills being an added advantage
