Product Owner

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our esteemed organization at Siemens AG. As a Product Owner, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) to drive the future of industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Define and prioritize user requirements to ensure smooth data integration across platforms.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, customers, business leaders, and project managers to deliver customer value fast and focused.
- Maximize the value addition of products developed by agile Scrum teams.
- Frontload work for development teams to enable fast and value-oriented delivery.
- Master's degree or PhD in computer science, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of technical domain expertise as a Product Owner or Manager.
- Proven leadership in software development across IT and OT sectors.
- Experience working directly with customers to develop scalable solutions.
- Deep knowledge of industrial plants, especially in data integration (shopfloor to topfloor).
- Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Snowflake, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Cognite, PDC Kepware, or similar.
- Agile mindset and expertise in Scrum and other methodologies.
- Commitment to ensuring sustainable software quality and hands-on feature validation.
- Reliable team player with a strong ability to foster mutual trust and collaboration.
- Fluency in English, with German language skills being an added advantage.
