Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and strategic leader to spearhead the expansion of our Risk and ESG Solutions Sales team, specifically targeting the Central Region, which includes Germany, Austria, CEE, and Switzerland. This individual should possess a strong track record in building teams and driving business growth. The role demands exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across various functions, serving as a trusted advisor to sales, pre-sales, customer success, and partner organizations, as well as engaging with product development and marketing teams. Your influence will be pivotal in shaping our success.

As a key member of the Leadership Team for our Risk Business in EMEA, you will play a crucial role in steering our future direction. While our customers have long utilized ServiceNow to enhance their internal processes, this emerging market focus presents a unique opportunity for ServiceNow to assist clients in managing the risks associated with their digital transformations. Team members will have the chance to grow this business from a solid foundation into a multi-billion dollar segment, supported by our business unit, executive leadership, and go-to-market teams. Candidates for this role should be entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and passionate about entering new markets and creating impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate a go-to-market strategy to establish a multi-million dollar business in one of EMEA's largest and most strategic markets, aiming to become the leading GRC Technology provider in the region.
  • Continuously enhance our team of specialized sales professionals to innovate and develop cutting-edge Risk & ESG solutions for global clients.
  • Collaborate with the Region's General Manager and Sales Directors to ensure success in sales and customer retention.
  • Act as the primary spokesperson for the Risk & ESG Business in the region, representing the company at conferences and client events.
  • Lead and manage executive-level strategic planning, sales initiatives, and operational processes to drive excellence and implement improvements across the organization.
  • Design programs to empower field sales and solution consulting teams in promoting Risk workflow solutions.
  • Contribute to sales campaigns focused on Risk Solutions.
  • Work alongside our Global Alliance and Channel organization to develop effective partnership models.
  • Collaborate with global leaders in Risk Sales and IT Transformation to create a successful roadmap for the next five years.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to sales and company executives, providing insights into market conditions, customer needs, and strategic planning.
  • Drive the economic value model to support our unique solution offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in sales leadership, particularly in recruiting and developing high-performing teams within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance sector.
  • A strong results-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate and influence in a team-oriented environment.
  • A deep passion and knowledge of the Business Risk & ESG domains.
  • Experience in leadership roles within matrixed organizations.
  • Exceptional people management skills, with a commitment to coaching and developing team members to reach their full potential.
  • Proven ability to inspire teams and scale businesses from inception to growth.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles and achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both business and technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Experience working collaboratively with product management, marketing, and development teams.
  • The ideal candidate will be adaptable and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Fluency in English and German is essential.
