The RoleWe are seeking a seasoned business leader to serve as the Head of Risk Management Europe. This strategic role will provide leadership and direction to ensure the optimal design and alignment of all risk management functions in support of our company's mission, vision, and values.
The successful candidate will serve as a leader and strategic advisor on risk management across the enterprise, participating in the development and implementation of a risk management vision that delivers strategic thought and partnership across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, eliminate, or reduce potential risks to the company and its stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Global Risk Management to define and develop standards, processes, and policies for risk evaluation across the enterprise.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to senior management and employees on risk management matters.
- Develop and present strategy, objectives, and deliverables to senior management.
- Monitor major and critical risk issues, reporting outstanding exception items and timeframe for remediation to senior management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Risk Management (Master's degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in risk management, preferably with knowledge of ISO 31000.
- Strong leadership and strategic advisory skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
