Role Overview

Position Summary

In this three-month unpaid internship, the Copy Editor will be instrumental in transforming blog-style articles into high-quality audio content. This role entails refining and editing written materials to ensure clarity, engagement, and consistency, specifically tailored for seamless audio production. Additionally, the responsibilities may extend to editing social media content and various other written pieces as required. The Copy Editor will be tasked with:

  • Enhancing content and rectifying spelling, punctuation, and grammatical inaccuracies
  • Ensuring all copy adheres to American English standards and rewriting text to boost clarity and readability
  • Fact-checking information cited in materials intended for publication
  • Applying the company Style Guide to all content and ensuring alignment with the tone and voice of SolaVieve
  • Occasionally performing tasks beyond the standard scope of this role
Qualifications

Education:

  • Currently pursuing or holding a university degree in communications, journalism, or English
