Position OverviewThe Copy Editor Intern will play a pivotal role in converting blog-style articles into high-quality audio content during this three-month unpaid internship. This position entails refining and editing written materials to ensure clarity, engagement, and consistency, specifically tailored for smooth audio production. The intern may also edit social media content and other materials as required. The responsibilities include:
- Enhancing content and correcting spelling, punctuation, and grammatical inaccuracies.
- Ensuring that all copy adheres to American English standards and rewriting text to boost clarity and readability.
- Fact-checking information cited in materials for publication.
- Applying the company Style Guide to ensure content aligns with the tone and voice of SolaVieve.
- Occasionally performing tasks beyond the standard scope of this role.
Education:
- Currently pursuing or holding a university degree in communications, journalism, or English.
