Category Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Category Analyst to join our team at Lotus Bakeries. As a Category Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by analyzing category and brand data, identifying trends, and developing compelling trade sell stories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze category and brand data to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Track and evaluate Lotus performance vs. competitors, identifying areas for improvement and developing plans to address them.
  • Identify current and future category segment dynamics and trends, and quantify their potential impact on our categories, customers, and brands.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with German trade partners, providing them with relevant category insights and recommendations.
  • Share analytical insights with internal stakeholders to support the development of the Commercial Plan.
Requirements:
  • University degree in economics, marketing, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the German trade landscape.
  • Proven experience in converting large amounts of raw data into actionable insights with commercial benefits.
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in German and strong understanding of English.
