About the Role
The Strategic Account Manager plays a critical role in securing the digital experience of our customers. As a seasoned professional, you will partner with our customers to identify and address their most complex security challenges. Your expertise in cybersecurity solutions will enable you to connect our customers with the right solutions for every stage of threat prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Own revenue expansion within Palo Alto Networks' largest customer base
- Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles, working closely with internal partners and teams to best serve customers
- Utilize consultative selling skills to identify business challenges and create compelling solutions
- Stay up-to-date on industry news and trends, and how they impact Palo Alto Networks products and services
- Travel as necessary within your remit
Requirements
- Possess a successful track record selling complex solutions to global enterprises, ideally within the automotive sector
- Exhibit a hunter mentality
- Experience and knowledge of cloud/SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security context
- Ability to lead all aspects of the sales cycle, including uncovering, qualifying, developing, and closing big tickets, as well as unlocking new growth opportunities
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction
- English and German language proficiency, with strong communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel
