C4 Campaign Strategy Analyst

The Opportunity:

In a dynamic and demanding strategic landscape, the military requires innovative thinkers who can envision the direction an organization must take to adapt to the swiftly evolving operational environment. Imagine leveraging your analytical expertise and operational planning background to assist clients in making informed decisions and formulating military command, control, communications, and computer (C4) campaign strategies to tackle present and future operational hurdles.

As a C4 campaign planning analyst, you will utilize your operational planning and military communications knowledge to ensure that clients create comprehensive and actionable planning documents and decision-support tools, enhancing their readiness to execute command and control to safeguard national interests.

In this role, you will be an integral part of a close-knit local team collaborating with cross-functional planners and seasoned technical C4 specialists to develop and integrate C4 enabling effects. You will provide assessment services and valuable recommendations aimed at enhancing C4 operational readiness within the unit's operational area.

Your responsibilities will include supporting staff planning for the development and integration of theater campaigns, operations, contingency planning, and Naval Integration initiatives. You will assist in reviewing crisis and contingency response concepts of operations and contribute to drafting functional C4 policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and annexes for component-level contingency plans and steady-state campaign directives.

Additionally, you will engage in security cooperation and interoperability planning and assessments, and support component-level participation in combatant command and Service C4 conferences, working groups, and staff processes to align service capabilities with joint and service strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Marine Corps communications officer
  • 5+ years of experience as a Marine Corps planner in a collaborative environment
  • 3+ years of experience in orchestrating large-scale C4 events necessitating coordination across multiple organizations
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Service Component or Geographical Combatant Command headquarters staff
  • Proven ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a team
  • Capability to manage multiple planning efforts concurrently
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Graduate of Intermediate Level School, such as Joint PME Level 1

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience executing operations officer responsibilities in a C4 organization, such as battalion or squadron
  • Experience leading Operational Planning Teams
  • Experience with joint planning at the combatant command level
  • Experience in drafting Operation Plan Annex K
  • Experience in planning and executing Marine Corps or Navy C4 operations in joint and combined environments
  • Experience in the European or African Theaters
  • Understanding of the Joint Planning Process
  • Familiarity with Combined, NATO, Joint, Naval, and Marine Corps C4 doctrine and capabilities
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps roles, missions, capabilities, and structure
  • Completion of Professional Military Education

Clearance:

Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
