Freight Business Development Specialist

Position Overview: The ideal candidate will conduct thorough market analysis to uncover trends and opportunities, leveraging a robust network of industry relationships to gather essential market insights and drive business development initiatives.

This role is part of the Business Development team within the Amazon Freight Commercial division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market data to identify significant trends and opportunities.
  • Utilize a comprehensive network of industry contacts to gather valuable market intelligence.
  • Lead and execute business development initiatives that align with organizational goals.
  • Identify and spearhead complex projects aimed at addressing customer challenges and enhancing overall experience through collaboration with global internal stakeholders.

Operational Efficiency: By utilizing air, sea, and road transportation, along with state-of-the-art sortation centers, you will contribute to optimizing Amazon's logistics operations. Our team harnesses data to inform strategic decisions. Amazon Freight (AF) operates as a B2B startup within ATS in Europe.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in utilizing data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Background in business development, partner development, sales, or alliance management.
  • Advanced proficiency in written and verbal German.

Additional Qualifications: Relevant experience in leveraging data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
