Director of Public Relations - Entertainment & Cinema

Sky Deutschland GmbH is seeking a **Director of Public Relations** to spearhead our communication strategies within the entertainment and cinema sectors, particularly emphasizing our OTT platform, WOW. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader who will design and execute comprehensive PR initiatives, oversee external agency collaborations, and assess the effectiveness of our public relations activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute innovative PR strategies tailored for the entertainment and cinema landscape, with a focus on the WOW OTT service.
  • Oversee the management of PR campaigns, agency partnerships, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide a unified overview of media budget allocations.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor movements to inform strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with various departments to ensure alignment in external communication strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of public relations professionals to achieve excellence.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or journalism.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of delivering results in dynamic environments.
  • Strong project management skills coupled with effective decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in executing successful PR campaigns and conducting competitive analysis.
  • Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in navigating a matrix organizational structure.
  • Fluency in both German and English is essential.
