The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to lead new business development initiatives within the EMEA region for our client, a leading semiconductor manufacturer.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape the future of mobility by driving growth in key markets. You will be responsible for cultivating relationships with major OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, identifying lucrative opportunities, and spearheading cross-functional teams to secure new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for the EMEA region, focusing on expanding market share within the automotive industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, leveraging your deep understanding of the semiconductor landscape and automotive trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations, fostering trust and collaboration.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our client's value proposition.
- Track and analyze market data, competitor activity, and industry trends to identify emerging opportunities and potential challenges.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of proven experience in business development or marketing within the automotive industry.
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor or hardware sales, demonstrating a strong understanding of the technology landscape.
- Fluency in German is highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences.
