Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Development

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies aimed at achieving regional targets for Sales Revenue, Margin, Forecast accuracy, and Pipeline growth.
  • Evaluate regional market dynamics and competitor actions to pinpoint opportunities and risks, providing actionable insights.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team.
  • Manage and coach the Sales Team to enhance organizational effectiveness through clear performance expectations.

Sales Budget Oversight

  • Oversee the regional sales budget, ensuring delivery of new opportunities.
  • Assess future product demand from existing accounts through demand reviews to clarify forecasting.

Client Relationship Management

  • Lead Key Account Management efforts to establish and nurture strong, enduring relationships with key clients, identifying cross-selling opportunities and potential competitive advantages.
  • Guarantee high levels of customer satisfaction through outstanding service and support.
  • Collect and utilize customer feedback to enhance products, services, and operational processes.

Business Growth Initiatives

  • Collaborate with the Regional Head of Business Development to identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on proactive lead generation and customer acquisition strategies.

Sales Operations and Analytics

  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics to monitor progress and inform data-driven decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and forecasts.
  • Ensure adherence to operational excellence standards.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to align sales strategies and objectives.
  • Coordinate with Technical Support, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless local operations.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Qualifications and Experience
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead and coach a diverse European Sales Team to achieve growth in competitive markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant market sectors and a strong grasp of Commercial Excellence practices are essential.
  • Proven track record in Key Account Management, Territory Planning, and Account-based Marketing strategies.
  • A technical or business degree is required; an MBA is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in German, French, or Italian is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time is expected.
