Key Responsibilities

As the Director of Engineering Operations, you will:

  • Lead the Engineering team, focusing on risk management and effective stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure the engineering team is equipped with the necessary resources to successfully complete projects.
  • Monitor and optimize relevant processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and Product Managers, facilitating informed decision-making and priority setting in software development.
  • Coordinate with the Head of Sales and Business Development regarding resource allocation and commercial strategies.
  • Oversee project completion, ensuring the project team delivers the final product to clients while managing budgets accurately.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • A relevant Master’s degree, such as in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Experience collaborating with Engineering Innovation Centers of automotive OEMs and tier-1 suppliers is preferred.
  • Strong technical analytical skills, coupled with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to assert your position while fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Proficiency in German and either French, Dutch, Korean, or Japanese is a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to our headquarters.
