Account Manager/Sales Specialist

Drive Sales Growth in the Life Sciences Sector

Revvity is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager/Sales Specialist to lead our sales efforts in the Platforms and Automation segment across Germany, with a focus on North Germany. As part of our team, you will be responsible for achieving assigned sales quotas and goals for customers located within a defined geographic territory or account list.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales plan that aligns with the region's and company's strategic objectives.
  • Grow geographic sales volume by identifying new targeted accounts, participating in trade shows, and improving overall market share and profitability.
  • Utilize resources effectively to drive sales growth.
Account Management:
  • Execute a sales plan specific to designated account(s) that promotes the growth of assigned product lines.
  • Account management of our current customer base, identification of new targeted accounts, participation in trade shows, and improvement of overall market share and profitability.
  • Utilize other sales and support resources effectively within the accounts.
Business Development:
  • Maintain an effective time and territory management plan.
  • Present business and technical information to customers.
  • Identify customer needs and trends, and provide information about techniques and products.
  • Follow up inquiries about goods and services, and maintain customer information using approved information tools and technologies.
Requirements:
  • 2- or 3-years sales experience required, or a minimum of 1 year experience with transferable skills and a drive for success.
  • Good understanding of Revvity's Platforms and Automation solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to tailor your style and content depending on the customer base/position.
  • Team skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and share knowledge and best practices.
  • Business and organization knowledge, including the ability to create a territory plan, business plan, and plan of key accounts.
  • Change management skills, including the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and organizational structures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in life sciences, preferably in molecular biology, biotechnology, or biochemistry.
  • Verbal and written proficiency in German and English.
  • Good presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, including negotiation skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory, with occasional visits to our office in Hamburg.
