We are currently in search of a committed Project Procurement Specialist (m/f/d) to enhance our dynamic team within the Sourcing department.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement activities for projects in collaboration with various departments.
- Prepare inquiry documentation, solicit and assess proposals for project-specific purchasing components, including electronic controls, instrumentation, valves, and dampers.
- Clarify technical specifications with project teams and suppliers.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of proposals from both technical and commercial perspectives, with support from project teams.
- Lead negotiations regarding pricing and contracts.
- Prepare and present supplier recommendations.
- Identify and propose cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee all supplier communications, particularly concerning schedule management and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
Your Qualifications:
- Completed degree in business administration or a technical field with a commercial qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Professional background in industrial procurement, ideally within mechanical engineering, process engineering, or the automotive sector.
- Experience in international product development and procurement processes.
- Familiarity with Supply Chain Management and project management principles.
- Proficient in Target Costing and value analysis methodologies.
- Strong command of ERP systems, particularly SAP, along with MS Office applications.
- Excellent proficiency in both German and English, written and spoken.
- Demonstrated analytical and entrepreneurial mindset, with a structured approach to tasks.
- High level of teamwork and collaboration, along with self-management skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, even in international contexts.
- Cultural awareness and a willingness to travel occasionally.
