Role Summary

The Finance division at ADM is integral to our operational success, delivering precise and timely financial insights and analyses to management and stakeholders for both internal and external reporting obligations. To provide exceptional service to the organization, ADM is in search of talented individuals who can cultivate a diverse skill set across various cultures through a comprehensive training initiative aimed at preparing you for a distinguished career in finance.

Our finance graduates are the future leaders of our organization. Thus, nurturing young talent is essential for our ongoing success. As a participant in this program, you will gain valuable experience in an international context within our Global Business Services, Centers of Excellence, and Business Unit finance teams. As a Finance Trainee, you will interact with senior finance executives at ADM.

Throughout the program, you will engage in a two-year rotational experience across different finance functions. You will be positioned in various locations and will complete at least one assignment in a European ADM office. You will collaborate closely with our skilled finance management professionals during your rotations. The finance functions encompass: Controlling and Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Statutory Accounting, Treasury, Credit, and Tax. Each rotation will last for six months. The hands-on training provided in this program, along with the opportunity to obtain professional accounting qualifications (ACCA/CIMA) funded by ADM, will support you in achieving your career goals. This program offers a pathway to an international career and the chance to contribute significantly to the ADM finance team.

Upon successful completion of our EMEA Finance Trainee program, you will be well-prepared to assume a challenging role within the ADM finance department.

Key Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree (or higher), preferably in finance, business, mathematical sciences, engineering, or a related field, with a genuine interest in the agricultural sector.
  • Proficiency in English (both spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages (German, French, Polish, Turkish) is advantageous.
  • Willingness to relocate internationally (within Europe).
  • Strong motivation to pursue a finance career in a global setting.
  • Keen interest in all facets of finance, accounting, and taxation.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently.
  • Strong analytical skills and numerical aptitude.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and an interest in various Information Technology tools.
  • A valid EU work permit.
