Role Summary
The Finance division at ADM is pivotal to our operational success, delivering precise and timely financial insights and analyses to management and stakeholders for both operational support and compliance reporting. To ensure we provide exceptional service, we are looking for high-caliber individuals who can adapt and thrive in diverse environments through a comprehensive training program aimed at developing the skills necessary for a successful finance career.
Our finance graduates are the future leaders of our organization. Thus, nurturing young talent is essential for our continued success. As a participant in this program, you will gain invaluable experience in an international context, collaborating with our Global Business Services, Centers of Excellence, and various finance teams across business units. As a Finance Trainee, you will have the opportunity to engage with senior finance executives at ADM.
Throughout the program, you will undergo a two-year rotation across different finance functions, with the possibility of an additional six months. You will be based in one of our locations and will have at least one assignment in Europe. During your rotations, you will work closely with our experienced finance management professionals. The finance functions you will explore include: Controlling and Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Statutory Accounting, Treasury, Credit, and Tax. Each rotation will last for six months. This practical training, combined with the opportunity to obtain professional accounting qualifications (ACCA/CIMA) funded by ADM, will support you in achieving your career aspirations. The program also offers pathways for an international career and the chance to contribute significantly to the ADM finance organization.
Upon successful completion of our Finance Trainee program, you will be well-prepared to take on a challenging role within the ADM finance function.
Key Qualifications- A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in finance, business, mathematical sciences, engineering, or a related field, with a strong interest in the agricultural sector.
- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages (German, French, Polish, Turkish) is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate within Europe.
- A strong motivation to pursue a finance career in an international setting.
- A keen interest in all aspects of finance, accounting, and taxation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with numerical data.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and a keen interest in technology.
- A valid EU work permit.
