Role Summary
The Finance division at ADM is integral to our operational success, providing management and stakeholders with precise, timely financial insights and analyses for both internal support and external reporting obligations. To ensure we deliver exceptional service, ADM is in search of talented individuals who can cultivate a diverse skill set across various cultures through a comprehensive training program aimed at developing top-tier finance professionals.
Our finance graduates are the future leaders of our organization. Thus, nurturing young talent is essential for our continued success. As a participant in this program, you will gain invaluable experience in an international setting within our Global Business Services, Centers of Excellence, and Business Unit finance teams. As a Finance Trainee, you will interact with senior finance executives at ADM.
Throughout the program, you will engage in a two-year (plus optional extension) rotation across different finance functions. You will be positioned in various locations in Europe and will complete at least one assignment in an ADM facility within the region. You will collaborate closely with our skilled finance management professionals during your rotations. Our finance functions encompass: Controlling and Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Statutory Accounting, Treasury, Credit, and Tax. Each function will be experienced over a six-month period. The practical training offered in this program, along with support for obtaining professional accounting qualifications (ACCA/CIMA), will facilitate your career aspirations. This program presents opportunities for an international career and allows you to play a significant role within the ADM finance organization.
Upon successful completion of our EMEA Finance Trainee program, you will be well-prepared to assume a challenging role within the ADM finance function you are assigned to.
Key Qualifications- A Bachelor's degree (or higher), preferably in finance, business, mathematical sciences, engineering, or a related field, with a genuine interest in the agricultural sector.
- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages (German, French, Polish, Turkish) is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate internationally (within Europe initially).
- Strong motivation to pursue a finance career in a global context.
- Keen interest in all facets of finance, accounting, and taxation.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently.
- Strong analytical skills and numerical aptitude.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and an interest in various Information Technology tools.
- A valid EU work permit.
