Role Summary
The Finance division at ADM is integral to our operational success, delivering precise and timely financial insights and analyses to management and stakeholders for both operational support and external reporting needs. To provide exceptional service to the organization, ADM is in search of talented individuals who can develop a comprehensive skill set across various cultures through a structured training program aimed at preparing you for a successful career in finance.
Our graduates are the future finance professionals and leaders of our organization. Therefore, nurturing young talent is vital for our continued success. As a participant in this program, you will gain valuable experience in an international setting, collaborating with our Global Business Services, Centers of Excellence, and Business Unit finance teams. As a Finance Trainee, you will interact with senior finance executives at ADM.
Throughout the program, you will engage in a two-year rotational experience across different finance functions. You will be based in one of our locations and will have at least one assignment in another ADM location within Europe. You will collaborate closely with our skilled finance management professionals during your rotations. The finance functions include: Controlling and Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Statutory Accounting, Treasury, Credit, and Tax. Each rotation will last for six months. This practical training, combined with professional accounting qualifications (ACCA/CIMA) funded by ADM, will assist you in achieving your career goals. The program provides opportunities for an international career and the chance to contribute significantly to the ADM finance organization.
Upon successful completion of our EMEA Finance Trainee program, you will be well-prepared to take on a challenging role within the ADM finance function.
Key Success Factors- A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in finance, business, mathematical sciences, engineering, or a related field, with a genuine interest in the agricultural sector.
- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages (German, French, Polish, Turkish) is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate internationally (within Europe).
- Strong motivation to pursue a finance career in a global environment.
- Keen interest in learning all facets of finance, accounting, and taxation.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently.
- Strong analytical skills and numerical aptitude.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and a keen interest in various Information Technology tools.
- A valid EU work permit.
