Talent Management Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Employment Relations

  • Provide strategic guidance to managers on staff-related matters and employment law issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage discipline, grievance, and counseling cases, ensuring fairness and reasonableness, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Conduct internal investigations, engaging relevant resources and escalating high-risk or criminal activity, and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor employee relations issues, identifying areas of concern, and implementing effective countermeasures to maintain a positive work environment.

Recruitment

  • Support recruitment efforts to ensure effective advertising and attraction of top talent, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage exit interviews, succession planning, and retention processes to minimize turnover and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Provide management with resourcing trend analysis data, guiding them to take proactive measures to optimize staffing levels.
  • Ensure hiring processes are consistent, compliant with legal and ethical standards, and meet company requirements.

HR & Payroll Administration

  • Prepare employment contracts, letters, and other employee-related documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Process employee changes in Workday (HRIS), maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Liaise with global teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely processing of monthly payroll and reporting, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Training and Development

  • Design and deliver training programs and activities, such as onboarding, performance appraisals, and people management, to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Talent Management

  • Implement and support global talent management initiatives, identifying and developing customized solutions to meet company needs.
  • Support and implement People Voice (employee survey) initiatives, analyzing results and establishing improvement plans to enhance employee engagement.
  • Visit retail stores, building engagement with retail teams, and collecting feedback on people-related matters.
  • Organize relevant events to build engagement and employee bonding, fostering a positive work environment.

Management Information

  • Utilize management information provided by core HR to highlight trends, monitor turnover, absence, employee satisfaction, reward, and benefit information, and provide insights to management.
  • Deliver monthly reports to key stakeholders, providing data on HR-related KPIs and trend analysis, with commentary outlining areas of focus.
  • Analyze information and ensure management understands trends, making recommendations to optimize productivity and profitability.

Others

  • Share best practices from HR communities in Germany, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  • Manage compensation and benefits for employees in the country, including medical/insurance, leave, incentives, salaries, and other benefits.
  • Respond to employee inquiries, ensuring timely and effective communication, and maintaining high service levels.
  • Support the HR Europe team as needed, providing assistance and guidance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Communicate changes in people policies to relevant employees, ensuring transparency and compliance with company policies.
  • Stay abreast of country-specific regulations and regulatory needs, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of generalist Human Resources experience, with strong commercial awareness and a proven track record of success.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with a customer- and sales-focused culture is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders and priorities.
  • Knowledge of people management theory and practice, including recruitment and selection, performance management, remuneration, and benefits.
  • Independent contributor with strong problem-solving skills, able to work with minimal supervision and make sound decisions.
  • Strong integrity, firm, and good problem-solving capability, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Experience working with HR systems, preferably Workday, and fluency in German and English.
