Position:
Purchasing Specialist (m/f/d)
Specializing in plant-based raw materials and packaging solutions.

Role Overview:
- Responsible for sourcing high-quality agricultural raw materials, packaging, operational supplies, energy, and services.
- Formulating a contemporary procurement strategy and executing associated concepts, including the utilization of digital platforms.
- Actively enhancing the current supplier network.
- Identifying, selecting, and nurturing new supplier relationships.
- Engaging in negotiations regarding terms and pricing with suppliers.
- Strengthening supplier management and evaluation processes.
- Implementing effective procurement controls based on relevant performance indicators.
- Establishing efficient risk and contract management practices within procurement.
- Conducting market research, comparing offers, and monitoring procurement landscapes and competitors.
- Overseeing and tracking material inventories and delivery timelines while ensuring adherence to delivery standards and quality requirements.
- Coordinating logistics of orders with internal logistics teams or external logistics partners.
- Maintaining procurement-related master data.
- Proactively driving process enhancements and innovations within the supply chain, particularly through increased digitalization of processes.
- Streamlining procurement operations and contributing to cross-departmental initiatives, such as the implementation of a new ERP system.

Qualifications:
- Completed commercial education with a focus on procurement or a degree in business or agricultural sciences.
- Several years of experience in procurement and materials management, with sourcing expertise in relevant markets.
- Industry experience in the food or agricultural sectors or food retail is essential.
- Knowledge of natural raw materials, agricultural products, or similar categories is advantageous.
- Familiarity with contract management is required.
- Proficient in MS Office and experienced with procurement processes in ERP systems.
- Conversational English language skills are necessary.
- Experience in managing teams is preferred.
- Demonstrated initiative, innovation, and organizational capabilities.
- Strong conceptual and operational execution skills.
- Affinity for mid-sized companies and a practical, solution-oriented work approach.
- Excellent team collaboration skills.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities, complemented by effective communication and implementation skills.
