Financial Accounting and Regulatory Reporting Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Financial Accounting and Regulatory Reporting team at Deutsche Börse AG. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and tasks that will help you develop your skills and knowledge in financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers and the Head of Units in managing external resources and lead the entire process for external resources
  • Prepare important management presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Participate in contract management and provide support
  • Create necessary documents related to contracts
  • Learn how to use SAP Fieldglass
  • Handle invoice management for external resources
  • Gain interesting insights into the regulatory reporting framework of Deutsche Börse Group
  • Contribute to the enhancement of using Jira for managing contracts and project activities
  • Contribute to the enhancement of internal documentation of processes

Requirements

  • Enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student. Your study focus is in the field of economics, statistics, business administration, computer science, mathematics, or comparable fields.
  • Can-do attitude and the ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good team player with strong communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office (Jira is an added advantage) and first experience with SAP, Salesforce, Workday, HubSpot or any comparable solution
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, German and/or French
